The Questions Everyone Asks. Answered Like We Answer Them in Person.

No dodging on price ranges, no fine print surprises. For deeper number talk, see the cost guides and homeowner resources.

How much does a new deck cost in New Jersey?

Broad range: most full deck builds land between $10,000 and $35,000+ depending on size, height, and material — pressure-treated wood at the lower end, composite with premium railing at the upper. Repairs and board replacement run far less. We publish honest ranges in our cost guides and give exact written numbers after a free site visit.

How much does a bathroom remodel cost?

A refresh (vanity, toilet, paint, fixtures) can stay in the low thousands; a full gut with custom tile shower typically runs $12,000–$35,000 in Central NJ depending on size and finishes. The written estimate after a site visit is exact and holds unless you change the scope.

Do I need a permit, and who handles it?

Structural work, decks, additions, and most bathroom/kitchen remodels need permits in NJ — and you want them, because permitted work counts at appraisal and resale. We handle drawings, filing, and inspections as part of the job.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes — NJ HIC #13VH13960500, verifiable with the NJ Division of Consumer Affairs, and fully insured with certificates available on request. Licensed subcontractors handle trades New Jersey requires them for, under our schedule and accountability.

Do you haul away debris?

Yes. Demo debris, old flooring, torn-out fixtures — disposal is built into the quote on every project, and the site is left broom-clean. No dumpster sitting on your driveway for three weeks.

How long does a bathroom remodel take?

A full gut typically runs two to three weeks of on-site work once materials are in hand. You get the sequence in writing before demo day.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Cash, check, Zelle, Venmo, and credit card. Payment schedules are written into the contract up front — a deposit is part of the contract total, never added on top of it.

How fast do you respond to a new request?

We respond within one business day — usually within hours. Estimates are free, written, and carry no obligation.

Do you take small jobs?

Yes — repair lists, punch lists, and one-day jobs are a core service. Batch the whole list into one visit and it's efficient for both of us.

What's your warranty?

One year on workmanship, in writing. If something we built fails because of how we built it, we come back and make it right.
